The director of the sustainable mountain resort Vigilius in South Tyrol contacted me to modernise their identity and re-design their Logo.
Only reachable by cable car, it's a unique place: an island up in the mountains made to relax and connect with the nature.

The brief was clear: convey the hotel's philosophy while keeping a reference to the old logo, to avoid confusing the hotel's loyal clientele. So I chose to keep the existing typography, but readjust it, and create an icon that reflects the idea of the hotel: simplicity and architecture that blends with nature.
